Our Work

Each of the four Aims are linked and interdependent. The data system in Aim One is used for research on policy implementation in Aim Two, and for researching teacher preparation practice in Aim Three. The work of the first three then provide research and practice opportunities for the Educating Teacher Educator Doctoral Fellows of Aim Four. All four Aims serve to strengthen the preparation of teachers in the state and nationally, and have potential for significant impact in a field that requires coordinated research on questions that matter most, large scale studies that cut across a wide range of contexts, and more purposeful preparation of doctoral scholars who enter teacher education. Taken together, the four Aims create a feedback loop for further research, understanding, and improvement in the ways we prepare our teachers.
