Our Work

Our work exists in four primary areas: establish a statewide data system for teacher education, conduct research that aims to improve teacher education in the state, promote collaboration and reproducible research through our Networked Learning Communities, and promote high-quality training of future teacher educators. All four areas serve to strengthen the preparation of teachers in the state and nationally, and have potential for significant impact in a field that requires coordinated research on questions that matter most, large scale studies that cut across a wide range of contexts, and more purposeful preparation of doctoral scholars who enter teacher education. Taken together, CTERIN's focus areas create a feedback loop for further research, understanding, and improvement in the ways we prepare our teachers.
