Kayce Mastrup

Kayce Mastrup is the postdoctoral project scientist with CTERIN. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from UC Davis in 2020, and is a former CTERIN ETE Fellow. As a former secondary mathematics teacher, her research agenda centers around understanding the development of preservice and novice teacher instructional practice. Kayce is also an educational consultant, working with educators to assist with designing courses and integrating instructional technologies, particularly with blended, hybrid, and online learning. By drawing from research-based pedagogical strategies with appropriate tools, Kayce attempts to bridge the divide between emerging technologies and effective teaching.
