Interview with Ken Zeichner
Peter Bjorklund, PhD Candidate at UC San Diego, interviews Dr. Ken Zeichner, Boeing Professor of Education at The University of Washington. He discusses the circumstances that have shaped him as a professional teacher educator, as well as the repetitive nature of innovation in the field, focusing on the importance of building hybrid ownership of teacher education programs: bringing together community, school, teachers, and university, so that each is seen as an active and valued participant in the construction of the program.
