Interview with Marilyn Cochran Smith

Joy Esboldt, Doctoral Candidate at UC Berkeley, interviews Dr. Marilyn Cochran-Smith, Cawthorne Professor of Teacher Education for Urban Schools at Boston College. Dr. Cochran-Smith shares her insights on the effects of the accountability and deregulation reform movements as they relate to the history and future of teacher education. Dr. Cochran-Smith discusses a current project exploring new graduate schools of education and notes what she wishes she might have known as she began her career over 40 years ago.
