Critical Equity: Moving From Practice to Culture
In this workshop, Dr. Ijeoma Ononuju discusses how teachers can become equity leaders in their classrooms and respective schools. Participants work to define equity and discuss its value in producing and promoting positive student outcomes. They also discuss best practices and how to elevate equity beyond concept of practice to a concept of being. In this, participants will be asked to examine their own DNA and discover ways that they can infuse equity as part of their being as educators.
