The Practicum Dyad: Collaborations Between Resident Teachers & University Supervisors to Support New Educators

Discussion of strategies used by dyads, resident teachers and university supervisors, to support pre-service teachers (PSTs) as they navigate the complex task of bridging university curriculum and school site experiences. Presentation of theoretical frameworks for supervision and recent qualitative research on the dyad is discussed, the 2021 STENT participants share their experiences with university preparation to promote progressive teaching practices.
