Supporting Teacher Supervisors Through Examination of Supervisor Problems of Practice

In this session, teacher supervisors engage in a fishbowl discussion about their experience using a lesson study format (developed by supervisor Johnnie Wilson) to discuss supervisor problems of practice. Three perspectives are represented in this discussion: (1) supervisors offering a problem of practice from their supervision, (2) supervisors contributing to solutions of problems offered by colleagues, and (3) supervisor facilitation of the discussion. Following the fishbowl discussion, session participants ask questions and contribution comments to the conversation.
