In this workshop, we explore how to create authentic and collaborative student teacher-mentor teacher-university supervisor partnerships where: 1) we deconstruct the hierarchy of supervision so that observations are constructive rather than evaluative; 2) we create learning spaces where supervisors, mentor teachers, and student teachers co-plan, co-teach, and co-assess lessons in a critically reflective manner; and 3) universities and school partners engage in shared conversations and/or develop PD training on how to implement theories related to DEJI, healing centered engagement, talk moves, and UDL into practice. Workshop presenters consist of pre-service teachers and mentor teachers from Santa Ana Unified School District and Irvine Unified School District and a UCI supervisor. Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences and contribute to the discussion on how to promote equity and shared vision in ST-MT-supervisor partnerships.
